Young And The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 19 suggest the tribute to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will continue.
It’s Newman Enterprises 50th Anniversary and incidentally, it’s also Eric Braeden’s 40th anniversary portraying Victor on the Y&R. So there’ll be much to celebrate on Wednesday, with many great memories and lots of flashbacks.
The episode will begin with a flashback scene involving Victor’s mother Cora Miller (Dorothy McGuire). Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Julia Newman (Meg Bennett), Colonel Douglas Austin (Michael Evans) and Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) are also there. In the present, Victor’s son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will welcome everyone to the gala and says a few words about his father’s business acumen.

Nikki will speak about she and Victor’s early days together. “It’s been a thrilling, sometimes heartbreaking journey and I wouldn’t have had it any other way,” she will say. Victor will tell everyone present that he loves Nikki more than he ever did. Applause will break out as Victor and Nikki kiss.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will say her father has always been her mentor and the only man she has ever been able to count on. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will talk about leaning on her father and how Victor always told her she’s a strong woman.
Then Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will ask if he can say a few words. Victor will recall when he first held a newborn Adam in his arms and telling Adam’s mom Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) that he was beautiful. Adam will say he hopes he and his father have reached a turning point in their relationship and the two men will embrace, as Victoria, Nick and Abby roll their eyes.

Next up is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) who will discuss his business and personal rivalries with The Mustache over the years, accompanied by flashbacks of their many heated arguments. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will take the mic from her brother and mention that her relationship with Victor was always complicated and she’s glad they’re still friends.
Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will talk about the first time he ever met Victor. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will grab the mic and say “Hello old friend.” Then Victor’s brother Matt Miller (Robert Parucha) will say he’s “so glad we’ve healed the past and found a way to move forward as brothers.” Victor will stand up and he and Matt will hug it out.
Then Victor will thank everyone for coming and say the evening has been a great honor for him. But the night’s not over yet. Nikki will say she has a surprise and everyone will follow her to a gallery filled with photos of Victor.
